Diane
Flynn
is principal and founder of Two9Three Consulting, a consulting firm that assists
organizations in structuring real estate financing transactions, developing
strategic initiatives, and analyzing and developing business strategies.
Prior to founding Two9Three Consulting, Diane
worked at the Robin Hood Foundation in New York City, where she was responsible
for evaluating and underwriting large real estate grants to be made from the
foundation's $50 million capital fund. While at Robin Hood and later at
Two9Three Consulting, Diane structured and negotiated a $75 million New Markets
Tax Credit financing for a 1600 student charter high school facility in
Brooklyn.
Prior to joining the Robin Hood Foundation,
Diane was engaged in private practice as a tax and business lawyer, primarily with
Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP. While in private practice, Diane represented
clients in a range of tax and business matters, including, among other things,
negotiating, structuring and closing New Markets Tax Credit financing
transactions; forming and negotiating real estate joint ventures; completing
the purchase and sale of businesses, including the sale of an $80 million
marketing business and the purchase of a specialized small business investment
company; restructuring a $200 million commercial real estate portfolio spanning
more than 25 properties and joint ventures; and structuring and documenting tax
efficient estate plans for high net worth individuals.
Diane has served as an adjunct professor at
Farleigh Dickinson University where she taught Partnership Taxation and Federal
Tax Research and Writing Methods; was a fellow in Leadership New Jersey's Class
of 2001; and served as an officer of the board of directors of the Morris
County United Way.
Diane received her B.A. from Villanova
University, J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, and LL.M. in
Taxation from New York University School of Law.
